Ok so I am an idiot amateur soccer cappper. I mostly tail the good ones on here (spec, settle, Cody, etc etc.). I love watching but just don’t know enough to truly cap especially smaller global matches. I actually do pretty well and eke out profits by tailing or occasionally picking my own games (especially in champions and euro league and cup matches). Also I have a good amount of success in round robining draws in 3/4 matches at a time. This is a cheap out lay with huge pay outs and fun. Yesterday, I had several dimes easy riding on two final matches (after having luckily nailed a handful or early draws). Aston villa 1-1 after Normal time and reading nil nil after normal time. Already plotting my dimes of profit into college football when I check flashscore to confirm my results and see a f$&@ing goal in the 95th of Aston villa match and even worse a mother f$&@ing goal in the 99th minute of the reading match. I am NOT a conspiracy black helicopter guy. I know how soccer works (to a point). My daughter plays D1 and my son most likely will. (I grew up playing “american” sports primarily baseball—god do I miss it and hated it when my son quit to focus on soccer). Anyway, I have learned to love it. Now finding myself watching it more than any other sport recreationally. Once you learn just a little about it, it’s so much more entertaining. And I know like 40% of what you guys do. The time investment is short and sweet and awesome. The rivalries and the transfers and all the intense leagues and cups and tourneys are so fun to get into. God I hate that the American men suck so bad. Gotta be the coach right???? I mean our talent isn’t that bad now is it???? I know the system in general had major flaws too. ANYWAY....sometimes it really does seem like just maybe it has the most “fixability” (except maybe tennis). Don’t get me wrong. Just because I lost those two matches yesterday, I don’t think that they were fixed. When people say shit is fixed, I usually say well it should even out in your favor right. The fix won’t always go against you. But the main reason I am venting and sharing this is I hoped that some of you soccer lifers had some input for me. How bad does fixing come into play? Is it refs mostly, players, both, neither? These f$&@9’g goals in obscene amount so f stoppage time that just keeps going makes me wonder and makes me want to strangle someone!!!! 5 minutes is maddening but ok not totally ridiculous. But 9 minutes of stoppage and then to have the tie broken in the last minute. Cmon!?! Am i stupid and crazy??? Sorry just wanted some input from people I respect and people that might actually know. None of my other american soccer dads have a clue about anything! Appreciate any feedback at all. Thanks for all of this if you who share lots of good info!!!
